The Project

The ‘Avern Road’ project presented a fantastic opportunity to deliver a low carbon sustainable development utilising the technologies available today including heat exchangers and thermodynamic panels. Both houses were built to a very high standard of energy efficiency with high levels of insulation and air tightness, whilst the appearance of the development as a whole is designed to complement and enhance the existing location. ‘Avern Road’ will stand as an example that not only is a clean future possible but it’s also the right thing to do.

The Location

The plot is situated on the borders of East and West Molesey, an affluent location within SW London situated close to the River Thames, Royal Bushy Park and Hampton Court Palace. East Molesey High St is approx. 500m and the renowned Bridge Road 2km away - with its range of independent retailers, bustling cafés, restaurants, boutiques and antique shops along with well know multi national chains such as Pizza Express and Zizzi. Hampton Court Railway station (TFL Zone 6) is approx. 2km away providing direct access to London Waterloo. There is also a regular bus service connecting with Kingston and Walton-upon-Thames.
